Well, well, well… here we are in June. I’ve been at a loss as to what to do with this site <obviously>, I’ve slowed down on social media but I still want an online presence. It’s a crazy time to post art or opinions. I do think more about AI trolling the internet, along with scammers, skimming a bit off the top of our digital footprints.
Nonetheless, it’s June. My foot (which I broke last summer) has healed and I’ve found shoes that seem to be giving me all the support and stability I need (I mean, it’s not like I am scaling mountains, let’s be real). The porch is full of happy plants: geraniums and petunias and some strawberry mint. The cat is content to be sleeping in the sun all day and keeping guard over our home most of the night. Family and friends seem to be heading into summer mostly in good health and spirits—all things considered (my code for: “the world is burning, but here we are”).
There are few places on the internet where I find something lovely and one place is my second cousin’s (we can never figure out what exactly we are) site. This is a recent poem that just made me smile (thanks, Mary!)
Take care out there!
