Still on crutches

Every day this week I’ve logged in and tried writing something… but it all comes down to the same few things. It’s been hot. I’m still on crutches (on the 25th I have a follow-up x-ray, fingers crossed the bone is healing!). I’d like to say I’m using all this down time to dig deep into my art practice… but I’m not. However, I am staying caught up on work which feels amazing and I am (for the most part) enjoying having ample time to read and catch up with folks that I owe phone calls or correspondence to 🙂 — in general, it’s been a good reset.

I did create a new logo / blog header for my friend Jon, he’s been moving in a different direction with his blog and photography and wanted a different feel. “Pastoral,” a bit more somber, but still with some whimsy and animals.
