December!

There will be a Christmas countdown this year! I’ve been struggling with regularly making any kind of art, apparently it’s easier for me if there is a goal. This year’s countdown revolves around characters that I’ve thought about for a while, ones that began with a determined little tea cup a few years ago.

I was also inspired by “A House Between Sea and Sky” by Beth Cato which I read recently, featuring a sentient Baba Yaga’s cottage — it lit a fire under me to get my tea cups and mugs down on paper.
